Feedback and Request Regarding International Gateway Conversion Issue

Hello PipraPay Team,

You've recently released Version 2.0.2, and I must say it’s truly amazing! Thank you for providing such a brilliant solution for payment gateways at free of cost.

I've noticed that you've integrated many crypto wallet gateways, which is impressive. However, I’ve encountered an issue related to international gateways. Currently, the system does not automatically convert the BDT amount when an international gateway is selected. It would be great if you could implement a feature where the BDT amount is automatically converted to USD, when using international gateways. Additionally, it would be helpful if the admin could set the dollar exchange rate from the dashboard.

Here’s an example of the issue:
When a user selects a Bangladeshi gateway for a BDT payment request, everything works perfectly. But when the user chooses an international gateway like Binance, OxaPay or other crypto options, the system incorrectly displays the BDT amount as USD. For instance, if a customer orders a product worth 500 BDT and selects OxaPay, it currently shows 500 USD, whereas it should show the converted USD amount based on the BDT value.

If you could look into this, it would be highly appreciated.

Regarding the issue you mentioned — actually, this is not a system bug, but a configuration step that may have been missed during setup.

🔧 Here’s how to properly set up currency conversion:

Go to your PipraPay Admin Panel

Navigate to: Settings > General Settings
– Set your default currency, for example: BDT

Then go to: Settings > Currency Setting
– Search for BDT and set its rate as 1
– Then search for USD and set:
1 BDT = how much USD (e.g., 0.0091)

Once you save that, the system will automatically convert amounts to USD (or other currencies) based on the selected gateway. This applies to crypto gateways like OxaPay, Binance, etc.
